Themed ‘Celebrating the Vibrant Pulse of Africa’, 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria will feature over 50 designers and exhibitors!
The 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is set to hold at the National Theatre on the 3rd to 4th June with over 50 designers showcasing their new collections.
The annual fashion event with the theme ‘Celebrating the Vibrant Pulse of Africa’ is in place to celebrate the rich culture of Africa and her style with designers in tune with this presenting their new collection as well as over fifty (50) exhibitors showing and selling at the 2-day event.The AFWN team reveals the catwalk will feature over 50 designers, over 50 exhibitors!
“This year, it will feature over 50 designers and exhibitors selected from various parts of Nigeria and the rest of Africa ,some of which are, Modella, Kola Kuddus, Maufechi, Regalia, Zizi Cardow, Marobuk, Tash by Tasha, Linda Ngwi (Cameroun) Sally Bawa, Alex Akande (Cameroon), Afrikawala (Zambia), Del Africa (Jos), and Eve Design (Senegal) and many more.
The Africa Fashion week Nigeria will be happening on the 3rd and 4th June 2017, at the iconic National Theater, Lagos and admission is Free. This year AFWN has promised to bring Lagos to a fashionable HALT”.
Speaking about the plans for this year’s edition, the team revealed the face for the AFWN 2017 as fast rising 53-extra presenter Amira Ibrahim Alfa while highlighting the need to “support preserving our heritage” by showcasing at the iconic National Arts Theater Lagos.
