Yesterday was the finale of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija season 4 and for the first time since the show commenced a female housemate walks away with the grand prize.
Mercy Eke was crowned the winner of the pepper dem season after scoring a whopping 41.77%, she got N30m cash prize, a brand new car and other gifts worth another N30m, which makes a total of N60m grand prize. The show comprised of 25 housemates and they were kept in one house for 99 days, alot of drama ensued in the house, which was completely expected and was part of the spicy pepper according to the theme.
However towards the end of the show, on the 89th day the two strongest female contenders, Tasha and Mercy got into a big quarrel that resulted to Tasha getting disqualified from the big brother’s house. Tasha has taken to her Instagram page to write what she would have done differently in the house, she wrote letters to the top 5 finalists a day to the finale.
Here is what she said
“Bliss is one priceless state of mind I have always desired. This ideally comes with inner peace; the will to let go and let life take its course. The ability to let life lead and direct purpose to a climax regardless of the chaos and battles we may be experiencing. I did loose track of this in retrospect as I have had time to reflect on my dealings in the house. I am aware that I could have reacted better.
We have one life to lead and I have chosen to take charge of mine. To be in control when I can and to be vulnerable when it is absolutely necessary. . Now that I think about it, my relationships in the house would have gone a little bit differently if I loosened up a bit, had a laugh here and there and also loved a little more intensely.
I’ve also had a while to think about what I would have said to the last 5 big Brother Naija housemates in the house before leaving. In light of the finale, I would love to get these thoughts off my chest.”
Her message to Mercy was so touching and got fans saying it’s indeed from a genuine place and that she had healed.
Tasha didn’t stop here, she again took to her Instagram page and congratulated Mike and Mercy for emerging first runner up and winner of the show. To Mercy she said history has been made and she is sincerely happy for her.
“Congratulations LAMBORGHINI MERCY HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE FIRST FEMALE Big BROTHER NAIJA WINNER💥👸. @official_mercyeke
