Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley, a Nigeria hip-hop singer and rapper, popularly known for his viral song “am I a yahoo boy”, and his siblings, Idris Fashola, Babatunde Fashola, and cousin, Kunle Obere, have been relieved of the four count charges of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstruction of the law, filed against them before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court at Tinubu, by the Lagos State Police.

The magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, during a hearing, on December 31, 2019,  had threatened to issue a warrant for the arrest of the singer, as he was yet to present himself in court. The magistrate however, adjourned the case till January 14, 2020, after being persuaded by Naira Marley’s lawer, Mr Tajudeen Elias.

However, the proceedings on the case resumed on Tuesday(today), where the prosecutor told the magistrate that both the defendants and the complainant, Mr Adenekan Ademola had resolved the case out of court, while presenting to the magistrate the terms of settlement signed by both parties.
