Queen Elizabeth II has called for a family crisis meeting in respect to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from senior royal duties.
Recall that last week Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a press statement saying they will officially be stepping back from senior royal duties and will be spending time between the United Kingdom and North America, while continuing to honour their duty to the queen.
Meanwhile Meghan Markle who has returned to Canada will attend the family crisis meeting over the phone. Prince Harry will be in attendance physically alongside his father Prince Charles and his brother Prince Williams at the family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.
According to Buckingham Palace, the Queen intends to resolve this issue in a couple of days not weeks.
