Fenerbahce Terminates Contract Of Emmanuel Emenike

Former Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike has parted company with Turkish side Fenerbahce after a troubled four years stay at the club.

The 30 year old made just 19 appearances last season, scoring four goals in the process after spending time on loan in the UAE with Al-Ain and in England with West Ham the previous season.

Heavily linked with a move to Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine he is expected to be compensated by the team before he is officially declared a free player, which will clear the way for him to move to the Ukrainian giants.

His contract was terminated alongside that of Dutch right back Gregory Van Der Wiel.
