Jermaine Jenas, former Tottenham Hotspur star, now pundit has identified Leicester and Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has one of the players who can fit into the biggest teams in the premier league. Tottenham Hotspur have looked light in the midfield department for vast periods of the current season having lost Mousa Dembele to China while Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Harry Winks have all had been battling with injury.
Dele Alli has at times had to play in a deeper role when his natural game is to play further up the field; while some have criticised Dele’s performances this season they have overlooked his sacrifice to the team. Jenas believes that Leicester City will struggle to retain the services of the Wilfred Ndidi following his impressive season with Leicester that saw him named in the premier league young team of the season.
Jenas said “I can see Leicester getting attacked at some point this year. Ndidi has had a good season. In line with Doucoure at Watford. These are the midfielders that Spurs, United could do with.” Ndidi finished the current season as the midfielder with most tackles and his efforts has not gone unnoticed with reports already linking him with Chelsea.
