Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen will undergo medical this week ahead of his proposed move to French Ligue 1 side Lille. He is expected to sign a five-year contract with the club after completing his medical.
Lille have targetted Osimhen as a replacement for Portuguese forward Rafael Leao who is on his way to Italian Seria A side, AC Milan for €35m. According to a report, Lille and Osimhen’s parent club, Sporting Charleroi have reached agreement which will see the Freanch side pay €12m plus a bonus of €2m.
The Nigerian who joined the Belgian club from German club Wolfsburg on loan last August scored 20 goals in 36 games. His encouraging performance led to his invitation to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where they placed third.
